When you hire Hamo Law, you get attorneys and staff members who have been with our firm for decades — who know your name, know your case, and won’t stop until the job is done right.
George Hamo’s earliest career wasn’t in a courtroom — it was on the floor of General Motors, working alongside the same blue-collar Flint community he would later spend decades fighting for. That experience didn’t just pay his bills. It shaped how he sees every client who walks through the door: he understands what it means to work hard, rely on your paycheck, and have the rug pulled out from under you when an injury takes that away.
In 1981, after having learned every day for 2 years working in circuit court jury trials for the iconic Judge Thomas Yeotis, George took everything he had learned — about people, about hard work, about what fairness actually looks like — and opened Hamo Law Firm. The mission was clear from day one: take the right cases, fight without compromise, and deliver results that make a real difference in people’s lives.
Outside the courtroom, George has always been just as present in the community. As a longtime youth basketball coach, he has invested in the next generation by mentoring thousands of young people. The firm has consistently given back through local charities, community events, and causes that reflect the same values George brought to the practice over 40 years ago.
Today, Alex Hamo carries that legacy forward alongside his father. Together, they run a deliberately small firm — one that handpicks its cases, refuses to treat clients like case numbers, and has earned a reputation for results that speak for themselves. No-Fault disputes, serious injury claims, wrongful death cases — Hamo Law takes on the cases that matter most and sees them through.
Staying small lets us be picky about the cases we accept and obsessive about the ones we take. It means the attorney you meet at the consultation is the attorney handling your case at trial. It means the staff member who answers your call has been with the firm long enough to remember details you’ve forgotten.
No volume, no settlement mill. We take the cases we believe we can win and walk away from the ones we can’t.
The people answering your calls have worked at Hamo Law for years — they know your case, know your name, and don’t hand you off.
Forty-plus years of consistent multi-million-dollar recoveries in No-Fault, serious injury, and wrongful death cases.
Every consultation is free, confidential, and handled directly by an attorney. There is no fee unless we recover for you.
